Archive of Previous Editions – FIM Over Time

The International Environmental Forum (FIM) is a progressively built dialogue platform that has grown from one edition to the next through the expansion of topics, the diversification of involved stakeholders, and increasing relevance for public administration, industry, and environmental professionals.

Since its launch, FIM has brought together national and international speakers, public institutions, professional organizations, and companies active in the environmental sector, becoming a reference platform for debates on the circular economy, environmental technologies, and public services.

The inaugural edition of the International Environmental Forum marked the debut of a new debate platform dedicated to environmental policies and the circular economy in Romania.

  • over 20 speakers from public administration, industry, academia, and civil society
  • central and local public institutions, professional organizations, and private companies active in the environmental sector
  • dozens of partners and supporters of the initiative
  • participants from multiple regions of the country, interested in public policy and practical solutions

FIM 2024 confirmed the need for such a forum and laid the foundation for a professional community focused on structured dialogue and concrete solutions.

The second edition marked an important step in the maturation of the forum, through the expansion of its focus to environmental technologies, economic instruments, and financing.

  • over 30 speakers, including international experts
  • a growing number of institutional and commercial partners
  • hundreds of participants, representing public authorities, operators, producers, and solution providers
  • increased media presence and visibility in specialized publications

FIM 2025 strengthened the forum’s positioning as a platform for applied, implementation-oriented dialogue and increased the level of interest among stakeholders directly involved in the green transition.

FIM 2026 – From Policy to Functional Public Services

The 2026 edition marks a new stage in the evolution of the International Environmental Forum, placing public environmental services at the center of European policy implementation.

FIM 2026 aims to:

  • expand institutional and professional participation
  • strengthen dialogue between public administration, operators, and industry
  • increase the tangible impact of discussions by focusing on organization, financing, and governance

This edition reflects the platform’s maturity and its ability to generate real added value for all involved stakeholders.
